Starting Secondary School
If you have been refused one or more of your highest preferred schools, you can appeal to an independent appeal panel. If you wish to appeal, we recommend that you accept the offered place. This will not affect the outcome of your appeal and will ensure that your child has a school place for the start of term.
Please note that Catherine Junior School does not have any influence over the decision made.
Applying for a school place
If your child is starting secondary school next year, you can usually apply for a school place in September the year before.
