Communication
We communicate with parents and carers in a variety of ways. To help look after the environment, we use electronic communication as much as possible. You may therefore receive text messages or emails from us with important information and news. Please ensure that we have your current contact details to avoid missing these updates.
Collaboration is one of our school values, which is why we also use Class Dojo to help families stay connected with what is happening in school. Class Dojo allows teachers and families to share pictures and videos of the children's learning both in school and at home. Each class has its own page where teachers will also share key information about trips, events and home learning. Parents and teachers can message each other privately too, helping us to work together to support the children’s progress and wellbeing. Parents and carers can also join teachers in celebrating the children’s achievements and see how many points they have earned for following the Catherine Code.
Class Dojo is available on almost all devices: it’s a simple, free mobile app for iOS and Android, and can also be accessed from a computer at classdojo.com. One of its most useful features is that on iOS (iPhones and iPads) and on classdojo.com, parents and carers can read messages and posts in their home language. The list of languages currently includes Arabic, Bengali, Bulgarian, Hindi, Punjabi and more.
How to change your account's language on the iOS app:
Here's how to change your account's language using the ClassDojo website:

If you are not a part of our school community on Class Dojo yet, please speak to your child’s class teacher for joining information and visit our policies page to read our Class Dojo policy. This tutorial video shows how to sign up once you have done this.
We look forward to having you as part of our online school community!
